Karun began his career as a domestic cricketer from Rajasthan. Before coming into the limelight he has already made his debut in popular domestic matches including the Under-19 cricket world cup, Vijay Hazare Trophy, and Ranji Trophy as well.

However, he didn’t come in light so much. He made his breakthrough in IPL 2016 when he scored a total of three-century from Delhi daredevils at that he also captained Delhi daredevils on the absence of captain. Currently, he was bought by Kings Xi Punjab in the upcoming 2020 IPL.
