Joy born with Park Soo- Young name is a Singer Rapper and Actress from South Korea. She is well known for being the lead vocalist and rapper of the band Red Velvet. Joy was born on September 3, 1996, in Jeju Island, South Korea. She is 24 years old. As a child Joy was fond of K-Pop songs and influenced by trot music of South Korea.
At her school festival, she performed the famous Korean band Cherry Filter’s song Flying Duck. She got an appreciation for her performance and later she pursued her career in music. In 2014 she debuted in a band called Red Velvet as a singer after releasing her song Happiness. Joy won K-POP Hallyu Awards in 2020 in the Best OST category for “ Introduce Me A Good Person”.She has been featured in TV shows The Liar And His Lover, Tempted and The Boy Next Door, etc.
