Having been a singing and rock music fan from a young age, Josh along with his brother Jake and Sam formed a rock music band titled “Greta Van Fleet” in 2012. The band’s name was suggested by Kyle Hauck their earlier drummer. Initially, the band became popular because of its fabulous songs Cloud Train, Standing On, and others.
In 2017, Josh’s popularity quickly increased as his band was signed by Lava Records and they released their debut EP “Black Smoke Rising” in the same year. The Ep was commercially successful and ranked 182 in the US Billboard 200. They released their second Ep From the Fires in the same year, which secured 36th in US Billboard 200 and 75th in ARIA charts.
In 2018. Josh along with the band released their debut studio album titled “Anthem of the Peaceful Army”, which secured 3rd place in US Billboard and 10th in ARIA Charts. Their recent album was The Battle at Garden’s Gate along with Republic Label.
Apart from this, Josh and the band have released many music videos including Highway Tune, When The Curtain Falls, Heat Above, and others. Numerous people around the world have claimed that Josh’s voice is as melodious as popular rock singer Robert Plant.
