Since her childhood, Josephine was having an affection for acting and singing so when she was 10, Langford used to write and perform in school plays especially in music competitions. When she turned 13, she started attending acting classes at Perth film school. Later at the age of 14, she began performing in short films, which grew her confidence in the early days. In the year 2017, She gave her debut in John R. Leonetti-directed supernatural horror film Wish Upon.
The same year she also gave her Television debut in the series called Wolf Creek where she featured in the role of Emma Webber. Then she landed the lead role of Tessa Young in a romance drama film series After. The series emerged as the turning point in her career, as due to the impressive script and acting by the cast the series automatically emerged as one of the sucessful hits that year.
