Jos Buttler started playing cricket for Somerset in 2009 in England’s Domestic Cricket. He also played cricket for King’s College in 2008. He has also represented England in Under-19 cricket. He finally got a break in England’s National Team in 2011. He made his T20 international debut in 2011 against India.

Jos Buttler used to play cricket for King’s College in 2008. In 2009 his team only lost 1 of 17 matches played by them under his captaincy. Then in 2010 he was named Young Wisden Schools Cricketer Of The Year. He has also played Under-13, Under-15, Under-17 and Under-18. He made his Domestic debut for Somerset in 2009 and impressed everyone with his batting skills which led him selected for Under-19 team.
Buttler was also selected for the 2009 Champions League Twenty20 as a part of Somerset Squad. Then in 2011, he was called for T20 Squad against India. He made his T20 debut in that series. He then started playing regular T20 matches for England.

Buttler made his ODI debut on 21st February 2012 against Pakistan. He was also selected for ICC Championship Trophy in 2013. He also played the 2014 ICC World T20 in Bangladesh. Then he scored his maiden ODI century against Sri Lanka at Lord’s in May 2014. He made his Test debut on 27th July 2014 against India. He made 85 runs in 83 balls in his first test inning.
Since 2014 Buttler was a part of England squad but dropped for Ashes 2017-18 Season. Buttler made his comeback on the Test side in May 2018 against Pakistan. He was also the part of the England team that Won 2019 Cricket World Cup. He was the Vice-Captain of the England team in the World cup.
Jos Buttler played in IPL for the first time in 2016. He was bought by Mumbai Indians for the 2016 season and also played the 2017 season as a part of the Mumbai Indians squad. Then in 2018, he was bought by Rajasthan Royals for 4.4 Crores Rupees. He struggled for form in the first half of tournament but when he was asked to open the innings his stats were improved.
He then Scored five consecutive fifty-plus scores and became only the second batsman to achieve that feat. Rajasthan Royals retained Buttler ahead of 2019 IPL. Then he was controversially run-out by Indian Bowler Ravichandran Ashwin. This was remained in news and criticized by many cricket personalities.
