In the show, she was the daughter of “Aatmaram Tukaram Bhide” and “Madhavi Aatmaram Bhide” and was a member of the popular friend group “Tapu Sena”. Jheel received many awards for the role of ‘Sonu’.Â
Unfortunately when she was 14 years old Jheel left the show to prepare for her SSC exams. Later in 2012 her character was replaced by Nidhi Bhanushali and she became the new Sonu of the show. However, in 2019 Nidhi also decided to quit the show for some personal reasons and now the role of Sonu is portrayed by Palak Sindhwani.
After quitting the show Jheel indulged herself in studies and after completing her studies she has now, along with her mother, started a bridal makeup and hair business which they named Beauty By Mehta Makeup & Hair. They initiated the business in 2020.
Jheel has not done any films or serials after TMKOC and her fans are now waiting for her comeback into the entertainment industry. Hope to see her come back soon.
