Jaydev Undkat was born and raised in Gujarat, India. He is a right-handed batsman and Left-arm fast bowler. However, his main role in the match is bowling. He began playing cricket at the age of 13 during his schooling years and since then he has represented himself in many popular international and national level matches.
In 2010 he made his debut in India Under-19 cricket world cup where he took 13 wickets and after that, he came into the limelight and got so popularity at a very young age. After that, he was selected in the test match against Sri Lanka. There he was unable to take any wickets and didn’t get chance to make his debut in the next test match.
IPL Career
Jaydev Undkat was selected in IPL for the first time in 2013 during that time he was selected by Royal Challenger Bangalore in 201 and also he was one of the costliest Indian cricket players in IPL during that time. In that match, he took 2 wickets Against Delhi Devils in the match. However, later on, 2016, he was released by Royal Challenger Bangalore and he was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders at INR 1.60 Crore and again in 2017, he joined in Rising Pune Supergiant in the match. Currently, he is bought by Rajasthan Royals.
