Career and Achievements

• Jack ever since of his childhood was passionate about singing, acting, comedy, and humor. He appeared on tv at the age of 13 in a commercial for a game called Pitfall! in 1982. After completing his graduation at the University of California, Jack made his acting debut with HBO’s comedy series named “ Mr. Show”. His performance in the show was commendable and caught the attention of critics. 
• Jack’s popularity increased after acting in the 2000s comedy-drama movie named “High Fidelity” where his performance was appreciated by the various critics and audience. The movie proved to be a breakthrough in his career. Subsequently, he appeared in various famous movies such as Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny, Shallow Hal, Nacho Libre,  Kung Fu Panda series, The Big Year, Jumanji series, and many more. 
• Besides, being an actor, Jack is a professional musician. In 1994 he founded an American comic music duo called “Tenacious D” along with Kyle Gass. they released several hit singles, eps, and albums. Some famous albums of the duo are  Tenacious D, The Pick of Destiny, Rize of the Fenix, and Post-Apocalypto. In 2015, the duo received the Grammy Award for their song “The Last in Line”.
• Jack recently created a Youtube channel named “JablinskiGames” that has more than 4m subscribers. On the channel, he uploads personal vlogs, gaming videos, and podcasts. 

Family

Jack was born and raised in California, the U.S in a Jewish family from his father’s side. His father Thomas William Black was a satellite scientist and his mother Judith Love Cohen, was an aerospace engineer.
