Isuru mainly plays as a bowler in the match and later on 2018, he began playing as an All-rounder in the domestic and international cricket. In Afghanistan premier league he was one of the leading wicket keepers which attracted the eyes IPL franchise. On 2020 IPL he was bought by Royal challenger Bangalore at an auction price of INR 50 Lakhs.

Career
Isuru Udana began his career as a domestic cricketer from Tamil union and Wayamba. He used to play as a bowler at that time and looking at his potential he was encouraged to play as an All-rounder in the match. However, he began his professional cricket career at the age of 18.
In the Twenty20 final match against Basnahira south, he was named as a man of the match as he took 4 wickets and all of them were tops batsman. Isuru came into limelight when he scored 84 runs in Twenty20 international matches. After that match, he starts getting an offer from many domestic games around the world. Currently, he was bought by Royal challenger Bangalore for 2020 IPL.
