The popular Ski mountaineer and adventurer Hilaree Nelson was found dead on the 28th of September 2022 on the South face of Mount Manaslu. On September 26, 2022, Nelson fell down from a deep downward slope of Mount Manaslu in Nepal while skiing with her partner Jim Morrison. But due to the very harsh weather the same day she could not be rescued by the rescuers. But on 28th September 2022, Nelson’s dead body was rescued.Â

Hilaree was one of the most popular and most experienced ski mountaineers in the world she was born on December 13, 1972, in Seattle, USA. From an early age, Hilaree has a fondness for skiing and adventure so subsequently, she has chosen her career in the same field.
In 2012, while completing her bachelor’s from Montana State University she was the caption of the university ski team and was a member of the Everest Education Expedition team. Hillaree has also served as the North face global Athletic Team captain.Â
On May 25, 2012, Hilaree Nelson became the first woman to reach two 8000-meter peaks of Mt Everest and Mt Lhotse per mountain 24 hours of time. Apart from this Nelson was the National Geographic Explorer who grants recipients including the other 40 members of the expeditions.
Her ski journey started with skiing in Baffin and South Georgia Islands, Argentina Kamchatka, Russia, and last The Tetons.Â
