Career 

• Hasan began his comic journey in 2007 after graduating from the University of California. Initially, he performed live shows in the clubs of Davis, California. Within a short span of time, due to his hilarious jokes and acts, Hasan became one of the popular comedians of Davis. Subsequently, in 2008, he traveled to San Francisco and performed several shows in the town. In the same year, he won the Wild 94.9’s “Best Comic Standing” competition, which contributed to his popularity.  
• With rising fame as a standup comedian, in 2010 Hasan made his television debut in The Wanda Sykes Show as WMZ Staffer. Subsequently, he appeared in several tv shows including Disaster Date, Arrested Development, Getting On, and Failosophy. In 2014, Hasan appeared in The Daily Show as a correspondent. His work in the show was fabulous which provided him several awards and nominations in several awards. 
• In 2017, Hasan appeared in Netflix’s standup comedy film, Hasan Minhaj: Homecoming King. In the following year, he starred in another Netflix’s television talk show “Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj”. Recently, he has been seen in “The Morning Show” an American drama series. 
• In addition to this, in 2010 Hasan made his movie debut with a short film named ”True Stories from My Crappy Childhood”. Subsequently, he has appeared in several short films and movies such as Indian Spider-Man, Rough Night, Most Likely to Murder, The Spy Who Dumped Me, Dads, and many more. 

Awards and Achievements

• Hasan in 2016 received the Chhaya CDC Award for Architects Of Change Honoree category. In the following year, he won a nomination in the Teen Awards in the Choice Comedian category. 
• In 2018, he received two Peabody Awards for his popular shows Hasan Minhaj: Homecoming King and Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj. Subsequently, in 2019 Hasan won two  Webby Awards for Netflix’s show Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj.
