Renowned American model and actress Jelena Noura Hadid, better known as Gigi Hadid, was granted bail with a fine of $1000 from jail in the Cayman Islands after being caught illegally possessing marijuana.
As per reports, Gigi and her friend Leah Nicole McCarthy went on vacation in the Cayman Islands last week. They were arrested on July 10 at the Owen Roberts International Airport when customs officials found marijuana and utensils used for the consumption of marijuana in their luggage.
On July 12, the official presented them in summary court, where they were granted bail with a fine of $1000. As the news spread on the internet, Gigi received massive hate and was trolled.
Furthermore, fans online started debating whether her addiction was the cause behind her separation from her previous boyfriend, Zyan Mailk, a famous singer.
Apart from this, Gigi has also been involved in several drug issues, including the 2015 Victoria’s Secret Event, where she was accused of sniffing cocaine.
