Sunny Deol is coming with the sequel to one of his most successful movies, “Gadar: EK Prem Katha,” which was released in 2001. The movie was a commercial and made massive money at the box office.
The main plot of the movie revolved around the 1947 partition of India, where a Pakistani girl marries an Indian Sikh man who takes her back to Pakistan to meet her parents.
Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is going to hit theaters on August 11, as per media reports. The makers announced that the story of the film will be set 20 years after the first part, against the backdrop of the India-Pakistan War of 1971.
If rumors are to be believed, this time Tara Singh is going to cross the border to bring back his son Charanjeet S ingh, who somehow ended up in Pakistan.
The previous movie “Gadar: EK Prem Katha” was a success not only because of its engaging storyline but also because of the commendable performance by the late legendary actor Amrish Puri.
According to reports, Manish Wadhwa, a fabulous actor, is going to play the main antagonist, a Pakistani Army general, in the film. Although More details about his role are not yet available, it is said that he is making all possible efforts to match the bar set by the late Amrish Puri in the first part.
