Dua Saleh is a Sudanese-American singer, actress, writer, and social media celebrity. She is popular because of her successful EP titled “Nūr” of 2019. She is also popular for acting in a Netflix series titled Sex Education.
Dua grew up in Kassala, Sudan along with her family and relatives. At the age of 5, she along with her family migrated to United States during Second Sudanese Civil War. She went to Saint Paul Central High School for graduation and shifted to Augsburg University for a degree in gender, women’s, and sexuality studies and sociology. She amassed initial popularity as a singer in 2019 because of her debut Ep Nur.
