Career 

• Darren began his career as an artist in musical shows where he used to act and sing songs. His first musical shows were Fanny and Do I Hear a Waltz?. Subsequently, in 2009 he founded StarKid Productions along with his friends and performed musical shows A Very Potter Musical and A Very Potter Senior Year. 
• In 2005 he made his debut in movies with a short film “I Adore You” where his performance garnered heavy praise and appreciation. Subsequently, Dareen appeared in various movies such as The Chicago 8, Girl Most Likely, The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, and many more. 
• In the mid of 2010, he got a call from Fox for their musical show “Glee” in the role of Blaine Anderson. His performance in the was commendable and received various offers after that. 
• In the last of 2010, Dareen released his EP “ Human” and appeared in various musicals and tours. 
• His recent movie was an animated Superman which performed well at the box office. 

Awards and Achievements

• Darren in 2011 received Variety Magazine for an NGO’s project “The Trevor Project”. The same year was awarded the Teen Choice Awards, NewNowNext Awards, and Dorian Awards for his work in “Glee”. 
• In 2015 he won the Broadway.com Award for his work in “Hedwig and the Angry Inch”.
• Darren in 2019 honored by the Screen Actors Guild Awards and Golden Globe Awards for his work on tv series  “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story”.
