Colin Farrell is an Irish actor who was born on May 31, 1976, in Castleknock, Dublin, Ireland. Farrell was inspired to choose acting as a profession after watching Steven Spielberg’s film ‘E.T.’, after the insistence of his brother, he joined a drama school namely ‘Gaiety School of Acting’ and began learning the ABCD of acting. Colin completed his schooling at ‘St. Brigid’s National School’ and began secondary schooling from ‘Castleknock College.’
Farrell’s first feature film was ‘The War Zone’ in 1999. Colin gave a brilliant performance in the 2000 movie ‘Tigerland’, which gave a kickstart to his acting career. Being a heavy smoker and drinker, Farrell often found himself in fights and arguments. Colin managed to keep himself together and focus on giving a good presentation of his acting skills. He also supports many charitable causes.
