Chahat was born and brought up in Fatehabad, Haryana, India with her brother and friends. As a child, she GD Goenka Public School for secondary education and moved to Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engg. and Tech, and completed engineering in computer science. Initially, she began her career in corporate world but her passion for food and cooking encouraged Chahat to be a food blogger.
