The fellow Islander Carmen attended Franklin High School in her childhood. She was born on April 21, 2001, in the United States and raised in Wisconsin. Before venturing into modeling and acting, Carmen worked as a bartender at El Hefe, a renowned bar in her hometown.

Correspondingly, she was discovered by a modeling photographer. She eventually painted as a model for him. Followed by her professional modeling with O Models. On July 18, 2023, Carmen began her television journey by participating as a contestant in the fifth season of the reality show Love Island USA.

While starring in the show, she collaborated with Marco Donatelli, a fellow Instagram star by profession. Kocourek entered the show on day 2 and subsequently emerged as one of the key influencers, coming in fourth place on day 32.
