Cari Champion is an American journalist, sports show host, Tv celebrity, Instagram star, and social media influencer. She is predominantly known as a former host of the ESPN program Sports Center and First Take shows. Presently, she is co-hosting a popular show titled Cari & Jemele (Won’t) Stick to Sports on the Vice on TV.
Cari was born and raised in Pasadena, California, USA along with her Jamaican parents and siblings. She attended a local high school for graduation and moved to the University of California, Los Angeles for a major degree in English and a minor degree in mass communications. As a college girl, she used to write for a student newspaper Daily Bruin, which motivated her to make a career in journalism. Initially, she began her journalism career as an intern at CNN in 2000.
