The popular American actor Cameron Douglas was caught by the Manhattan police with Cocaine and was arrested and charged with violation of custody for consuming and carrying unregulated substances. But however, the charge was settled after he asserted an apology in court.
In 2007, Cameron was caught red-handed with liquid cocaine in his car by a police officer, and a case was filed against him. Subsequently, he was arrested by the US Durg Enforcement for custody of keeping 0.5 Ib (0.23kg) of Methamphetamine.
On April 2010, Douglas has sentenced to five years behind the bars for keeping heroin and dealing large amounts of methamphetamine and cocaine out of New York. Apart from this, after being in prison, he was again caught red-handed by the prison administrator for using drugs inside the jail, which instantly added an additional 4 years in prison for this charge.
Thereafter he was again found to have drugs in prison in Loretto, Pennsylvania. But however, on April 15, 2013, his ample prison sentence was reduced by the Second U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, afterward, the Supreme Court denied his final appeal on January 13, 2014.
Finally, on August 2016, Douglas was released from prison and was eventually transferred to a halfway house detention in New York City, being 7 years behind bars with added 7 years in isolated housing detention, he ultimately began his new life and commenced his fondness for acting. Recently in March 2023, his pending cases was renewed by the City court.

After completing his theater lessons Cameron initially began his acting journey by marking a cameo appearance in multiple theater plays. Cameron marked his early acting in 1997 with Samo Hung‘s action comedy film “Mr. Nice Guy” by collaborating alongside Jackie Chan.
In his debut acting his performance was highly appreciated by the fans and critics and instantly guided him to acquire fame. Then he featured in the role of Asher Gromberg in Fred Schepisi’s comedy-drama film “It Runs in the Family” in 2003.
He has also teamed up with Emmanuelle Chriqui and Jake Hoffman in a 2005 American comedy film “National Lampoon’s Adam & Eve”, portraying the lead role of Adam. In 2008 Douglas was signed as a cast for the role of Rick in the crime thriller film “Loaded” starring Jesse Metcalfe, Corey Large, Monica Keena, and Chace Crawford.
