Blueface began his musical journey in 2017 after releasing his debut single “Fuck It Up”. The song was a hit on social media platforms and received millions of views on different platforms. His breakthrough came in 2018 when his music video “Respect My Crypn” went viral on the internet and accumulated millions of views. 

In 2018, Blueface released his first mixtape “Famous Cryp”. The mixtape was commercially successful and ranked 17th in US Rap and 29th in the US Billboard. In the same year, he released his first Ep “Two Coccy” along with Cash Money and Republic recording label. Subsequently, he released another Ep “Dirt Bag” under the same label.
