Zuhair Hassan better known by his stage name Big Zuu is a renowned British rapper, DJ, songwriter, grime MC, and television personality from West London, England. He is well-known for delivering the British comedy television series named Big Zuu’s Big Eats for Dave.

He was born on 19 August 1995, and grew up in Kilburn, London, England to into a Muslim family and has his belief in Islam. During his pause year between college and university, Hassan worked as a Teacher for young kids in a secondary school in Haggerston, East London. Hassan studied for two years at Goldsmiths University in New Cross learning towards a social development and youth work degree.

Big Zuu is an associate of the MTP crew (My Team Paid), a rap group that includes his cousin AJ Tracey and other grime MCs like Ets and others; much like AJ Tracey, his first-ever demos were documented at their local youth center, The Rugby Club, which let them use their studio so long as no curses were utilized during the recording, compelling him to become innovative to make his point.

Television Career

In late 2019, UKTV channel Dave authorized a new food presentation featuring Big Zuu and different other stand-up comedians. The show titled, Big Zuu’s Big Eats, started publishing on 15 May 2020. It starred Big Zuu and his two other friends, Tubs and Hyder, in a 10-part series cooking for stand-up comedians who were traveling the UK.

In September 2020 it was informed that the show would produce two special episodes heeded by a second sequel in 2021. The third sequel premiered on 4 July 2022; guests contain Katherine Ryan, Johnny Vegas, and Mel B.
