Career and Achievements

Annie began her CrossFit journey in 2009 in California. She performed well in initial games and finished in the top 10 out of 70. However, she was unable to win any title, she ended the tournament with 11th rank.

In 2010, Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she finished in seconds place and won a silver medal in the same year. In the following year, she again participated in the CrossFit games, and because of her dominant performance, she won the games and became the first woman to win CrossFit Games.

In 2012, Annie again won the CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and became the first woman athlete, who won two CrossFit Games consecutively. Besides this, in 2014, she won a silver medal and recently in 2021 won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Presently, Annie coaches and trains at Crossfit Reykjavik, which was started by her.

With rising fame as an athlete, Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok, Rogue Fitness, Transparent Labs, Renaissance Periodization, Nuun Hydration, Sidekick, Yerbaé, and many others. In addition to this, she has a self-titled Youtube channel with a few thousand subscribers, where her training, diet, family videos, and travel vlogs are uploaded.
