The popular Indian actress Ann Augustine was born on July 30, 1989, in Kozhikode district, Kerala. While completing her graduation, Ann ventured into theater and began her career in acting.
After making a praised-worthy debut with Elsamma Enna Aankutty, Ann instantly rose to prominence as the movie was commercially hit in theaters. Following the success, she then played the role of Anjali Menon alongside actor Prithviraj in Ranjith Sankar’s action thriller film Arjunan Saakshi in 2011.
The same year, she was again launched by VK Prakash in his slapstick comedy film Three Kings. The movie was a commercial hit, and her portrayal was highly praised by the fans.
In 2012, Ann played multiple roles in five different films, including Ordinary, Vaadhyar, Friday, Poppins, Da Thadiya, etc
Her popularity immediately skyrocketed after accepting the Kerala State Film Award for her splendid performance in the romantic drama film Artist. For the same film, she was also awarded the Best Female Actress in the Malayalam Filmfare Award in 2013.
