America Georgina Ferrera is an American actress, director, and producer. Ferrera developed her interest in acting at a very young age, performing at several productions in her school. She made her first feature film debut in a comedy-drama “Real Women Have Curves” in 2002 that made her earn a huge fan base and appreciation for her outstanding performance. Her notable film roles include “The Dry Land”(2010), “Our Comedy Wedding”(2010 ), and the crime drama (End of Watch”(2012).

America Georgina Ferrera was born on April 18, 1984, in Los Angeles California to Honduran Parents. Her parents were originally from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and immigrated to the United States in the mid-’90s. Ferrera’s parents got divorced when she was 7 years old and her father returned back to “Honduras”.She was deeply estranged when her father died there in 2010. She has raised in the Woodland Hills section of Los Angeles. She attended Calabash Elementary Street School, George Ellery Hale Middle School, and El Camino Real High School located in the woodland hills district. Ferrera from a very early age was passionate about acting, she landed a small role in a school production of Hamlet. At the age of 10, she played the role of Artful Dodger a small play by “Charles Dickens” known as “Oliver”.Her first Play was “Romie and Juliet”.
