Rayadu began his IPL career from 2012 for the first time from Mumbai Indians. Before playing in the IPL Rayadu was a captain of the under-19 team of India in 2004 ICC. Later on, he signed with state association on the Rebel Indian Cricket league.
In 2009 he returned to domestic cricket accepting BCCI offer. There he made a good performance for Baroda in domestic cricket and Mumbai Indians on Indian premier league and made his name in the Indian squad in 2012.
