Adam Mosseri is an American and Israeli businessman, entrepreneur, and media celebrity. He is popularly known for being the head of Instagram and former executive of social media giant Facebook.

Adam was born in New York City and grew up in Chappaqua, New York, USA in an Israeli-American family with his younger brother. As a child, she visited a local high school for graduation and moved to Gallatin School of Individualized Study, New York University, and completed a bachelor’s degree in information design. He started off his own design consultancy company titled “Blank Mosseri” in 2003.

While completing his bachelor’s in New York University, Adam founded a design and consultancy company called “Blank Mosseri”. The company rapidly grew and had branches in New York and San Francisco. Following his success as an entrepreneur, he joined TokBox in 2007 as the first designer of the company.

In 2008, Adam joined Facebook as a product designer and due to his exceptional work became a product design manager in a short span of time. Between 2016 to 2018, he served as a vice president of product for Facebook.

In 2018, Instagram hired Adam as a vice president of product and in the same year promoted him to the head of Instagram. Besides this, he appears in numerous Tv, news, and talk shows around the world.

In 2015, Adam was named as a Power Player of Facebook by a popular magazine named Business Insider. Recently, in 2020, he was featured on Fortune’s list of ’40 Under 40′.
