On March 13, 1991, Aasif was born and grew up in Nimbahera, Rajasthan, alongside his siblings. He attended a local high school, where he found his passion for acting and regularly performed in multiple stage plays throughout his school years.

Upon graduating from college, Aasif joined the Sarthak and Ujaagar Theatre Group and went on to perform multiple stage plays around the world before venturing into Bollywood.

Career and Achievements

Aasif began his mainstream acting journey in 2011 as a junior artist in Anees Bazmee’s comedy-drama movie “Ready.” Subsequently, he was cast to play a supporting role in the crime-drama movie “Agneepath,” which was a global hit. 

In 2018, Aasif received early recognition for portraying the recurring role of Baber in Amazon Prime Video’s crime-drama show “Mirzapur.” He reprised his role in season 2, which was a global hit.

Following that, the actor portrayed the important role of Anas Ahmad in Netflix’s crime-drama show “Jamtara-Saka Number Ayega.” The show was both commercially and critically successful, and it went on to win multiple awards.
